Brittani Dunlap is the Founder and CEO of FlowEQ, a workflow automation company dedicated to making work easier and error-proof for teams everywhere.
Nearly a decade ago, Brittani set out to solve a frustrating, all-too-common problem: automating tasks and reducing human error in repetitive business processes. At the time, her approach looked like many leaders’—gather the team in a conference room, whiteboard the “perfect” workflow, snap a photo with a cell phone, and send it out for execution.But soon, Brittani recognized a critical gap: there was no way to see who was actually following the process, no visibility into compliance, and no assurance that the new workflows were consistently applied and/or where these current workflows could be improved. There was a gap between the team executing these tasks and the administrators delegating the work.
This cycle repeated often, wasting time and slowing progress.Determined to break that loop, she and her team built a tool where actions could be taken directly within the workflow itself—eliminating the disconnect between planning and execution. That idea became FlowEQ: a platform that reduces human error, boosts productivity, and helps teams adapt to their ever-changing business needs in real time. Brittani shares, "The way Google Maps gives you turn by turn instructions between two locations, anywhere in the world; FlowEQ does this for any business process your CX reps is executing and to ensure the same process is followed each time. The power in this is you (as the business leader) can identify where your internal process is broken, adjust it in real time without extensive change management trainings. You publish the new workflow/process and it's distributed across the organization immediately. We've enabled new hires to correctly handle tickets/issues/interactions on their first day. This alone has been rewarding to share with our users."
FlowEQ’s potential was recognized early on by Y Combinator, where Brittani and her early co-founders honed their product, refined their vision, and set the foundation for scaling to enterprise-level customers.
